Tasikmalaya (30 June 2026) – PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) continues to support the improvement of community quality of life through affordable and impactful products and services. This commitment was demonstrated through its support for the Territorial Offensive programme organised by the Territorial Centre of the Indonesian Air Force (Pusterau) in Linggajati Village, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java, on 29–30 June 2026.

Linggajati Village, located in Sukaratu District, Tasikmalaya Regency, lies at the foot of Mount Galunggung. The area is characterised by cool hills, fertile volcanic soil, and abundant natural resources. The village is home to around 4,600 residents, most of whom work in agriculture, animal husbandry, trade, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and businesses supporting tourism around Mount Galunggung.

Kalbe’s support for the Territorial Offensive comprised three main activities: the donation of 1,500 insulin pens, health education and medical check-ups, and eye examinations with the distribution of spectacles for local residents. Kalbe collaborated with academic institutions, namely the Leprindo Academy of Optometry (ARO Leprindo) and the Emtek Institute of Digital Media (IMDE). In particular, ARO Leprindo contributed to eye examinations and the provision of spectacles.

The symbolic handover of 1,500 insulin pens took place during the Territorial Offensive, witnessed by representatives of the Tasikmalaya Regency Government, Pusterau officials, and Wiriadinata Air Base.

“In supporting the Indonesian Air Force’s Territorial Offensive, Kalbe is not only providing access to healthcare. We are also contributing to diabetes alleviation through insulin donations, education for health cadres, and medical check-ups for the Linggajati community,” explained SFD Arie Wibowo, Kalbe Corporate Sustainability Assistant Manager.

Arie added that the health checks included blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid tests. “These examinations serve as early detection of potential diseases and as a signal to improve health through better lifestyle choices,” he continued.

Air Commodore Ignatius Wahyu Anggono, Head of Pusterau, stated that the Territorial Offensive programme reflects the Air Force’s commitment to being present within communities through initiatives that deliver tangible benefits. “The Territorial Offensive is an implementation of territorial development by the Air Force, carried out in an integrated manner with multiple stakeholders, ensuring its benefits are directly felt by the public,” he said.

In the same occasion, Air Commodore Wahyu expressed appreciation for Kalbe’s healthcare support. “We value Kalbe’s efforts, alongside its collaborators, in supporting this health-focused social service. This synergy provides a real solution to expanding healthcare access for the wider community,” he remarked.

Meanwhile, Abi Nisaka, Head of Corporate Sustainability at Kalbe, emphasised that the success of Kalbe’s sustainability programmes is rooted in active collaboration with diverse stakeholders. “Kalbe continues to build partnerships with academia, government, and communities to broaden healthcare access. In line with our spirit of Together for a Healthier Nation, we strive to improve people’s lives,” Abi affirmed.
